Well I guess I ought to update this. Maybe. *Shrugs*. Does anybody read it? If so, comment dammit!
Interesting month... Despite not much happening. Finished work placement, but haven't finished portfolio. That's still at work. Reminder to self: Call work
What else... Got an assignment in on Monday. Must complete that this week. Practicals at uni next week. VNT3&4 papers at uni week after next.
So that's what's going on in education. Education which costs me £3145 a year. Other than that, same old, same old. Majority of people know I have a car now. If you didn't, there you go. I have a car. It's a blue 2002 Fiat Punto. Great, now that you've caught up with everyone else, here's a photo.

In more mechanical/technology news, my Xbox finally gave up and blew up on the 14th. Started being odd on the 12th, froze midgame and stuff, 13th decided to kick out some nice static and grinding noises, and the on 14th packed up and refused to boot up again. RRoD. That's Red Ring of Death if you didn't know. It looks like this:

Well, my xbox is about... 21 months old. Warranty only lasts 12 months. BUT Microsoft are nice, and changed their policy this year to say "If your xbox is within 3 years old and you get 3 red lights on the ring of light, indicating hardware failure, we'll fix it for free."
Woohoo. So off I went on a magical journey through time and space with naboo. Well, no. I went on the xbox site, registered my console and booked it in for repairs. I then get told to go to UPS and organise a collection. I then get told to print a delivery label and package up my xbox, taking off everything including faceplates, hard drive, etc etc. So, after a bit of waiting and internettage, my xbox was collected to be shipped off to the repair centre in Germany on the 18th. It arrived on the 21st. Damn fast I thought. So, about 1-2 weeks and I should get it back. OR a replacement. So No worries! We can play rock band and guitar hero at christmas people! (Looks for people who actually read this... Ah well, I'll let people know when I see them next)
Um, what else. That's about it really, picked up some new books in waterstones today in their 2 for 3 offer. Watchmen, Wanted and Batman: Jekyll & Hyde. Had Watchmen on my PC for a while now, but its a pain in the ass reading it off a computer screen and it's nice to have it in book form. Wanted is really good (Movie = Awesome, even if it does ignore physics.... Comic = Movie x100), and I haven't got onto Batman yet. I'll probably pick up Sin City #1, Hellboy #1 and maybe Batman: The Killing Joke next time I go in.
So that's life from the past month. Other than that, I've finished the CB08 videos. They're here:
That's all for now. Bye.

Good Luck with the exams...and the XBox. I guess Microsoft have been so lenient because they've had so much trouble with the RRoD...Any news?
